Spackled buttercream for a vintage wedding.....

This is lovely! Do you mind sharing how you spackled the buttercream this way? It's such a nice contrast to smooth icing...

Hi LaDulceVida. I would be happy to help. I used a cake icer tip from Wilton to put the icing on the tiers (so it would be semi thick). I then went around it and scraped some of the icing off. Then I ran my small round tip spatula under hot water (I use a crusting buttercream) and just made brushstrokes with the spatula. I went in every direction, so it would look more random, etc..
