50Th Anniversary Cake on Cake Central

The top tier of this cake is slanted forward so it faces you. I don't think you can tell that in this pic. The little gift card/frame is made of chocolate and dusted with gold luster dust.

I am very taken with the way you did your borders. The whole thing has an old fashioned look to it, which I love.

Thanks everyone! They asked for something simple. I like simple! The border is one of my favorites. It didn't come out as well on this cake because it was round but if you look at my other cakes...it looks really good on a sheet cake. The frame is a chocolate mold.

Hello Lisa, i was just asked to make an 50th anniversary cake.. im soo nervous, i dont know if im going to do it yet. but i really like your cake! what size cake is the bottom? and the top? how many will this cake feed? He needs something to feed 75 people. thanks!!!

Thanks! The top was a 6" filled (I trimmed a little off the bottom to make it slant forward) and the bottom was a 10" filled. It served about 30.
