Spaghetti Cake
Since my family is Italian this seemed fitting for my Mother's birthday cake. It is chocolate cake, strawberry layers inside, buttercream "noodles", strawberry preserves "sauce", white chocolate "shredded cheese" and roche truffle "Meatballs". I got the ideas from this site - it was great fun and so easy!

I like the idea of Rocher meatballs. I made mine with choc.chips and cream cheese and they were just too sweet.My son-in-law refused to eat it because it looked too much like spaghetti.

I absolutely love this cake. My cousin owned an Italian restaurant on Cape Cod for many years and I am going to make this a surprise cake for her. She has recently had knee surgery and has been housebound for a couple of weeks. She will go bonkers over it?
