I poured melted chocolate on a big piece of wax paper. Take an offset to smooth/even it out and try to kinda shape it into a rectangle. Knowing the height of my cakes, I cut 2x? panels. I don't remember the height now. Also depends on how high you want them too. After cutting in panels, let sit until completely set up than lay flat until use. Martha Stewart has instructions too. Her dimensions are off.
