Made the body out of my Lg Doll cake pan,8 inch layer underneath,iced inside with light blue; Feet were made from the small doll cake pan,carved to fit the body,Pink fondant on the bottom of the feet, made the trunk out of fondant/hardened with Tolouse,a small wooden skewer inserted to attach to cake for stability,hardened overnight. Ears made from Gumpaste several days ahead. Hat from Icecream Cone,styrofoam ball on top with ribbon hotglued on. Customer requested Buttercream all over, so I stared the entire cake, my Grandaughter Mckenzie spotted any holes I left and SHE filled them up for me. Big Helper!!!! I ran arother skewer thru the Hat so no risk of falling off in transit.....Made, Butterflies,squillies,and whatevers to lay around on the board. Customer loved " Dumbo" Was for a 3 year olds Birthday, he loves Elephants.............Fun to make!!!!
