This is a small heart shaped cake I made for a friend's daughter's birthday. It's a buttermilk devils food cake filled with fresh strawberry butter cream, lightly frosted in the same and topped with a strawberry MMF. I topped it with chocolate dipped strawberries and chocolate piping. It's supposed to be a princessy cake, but no specifics so I went with a pink frilly theme. I decided to change this cake slightly from my first posting and added a gum paste crown.
