I made this special cake for my grandpa's 90th birthday. I had a hard time coming up with cake ideas. He loves to play cribbage. So I thought what would be more fun than a cake that looks like his cribbage board. This was kind of difficult since I did not own a cribbage board of my own. I wanted the cake to be a surprise so I winged it. I absolutely love how it turned out! He cried when he saw it. 1/4 sheet cake cut in half & stacked. Cake & all accents are fondant. I also thought the cake board would be perfect if lined with playing cards.
