I did this cake for a contest at work. It was a Friday the 13th theme and took place on Friday the 13th. I chose to go with the bad luck aspect and tried to represent a broken mirror with the bloody hand coming through the middle. The mirror shards are sugar glass with pearl dust. The hand is fake and everything is covered with blood icing.
