I made this without any cutters, and just painted it. I wanted to try one before I buy the cutters.

Georgeous!! I'd say don't mess with the cutters if it turns out that good without them - I've found that the rose cutters actually make more work than doing it by hand for me. You've got a gift! keep it up!
