I created these cakes for our local fire department recruit graduates. Both of the cakes are created from rkt's. On the USA flag cake I created the firefighter helment, axe and the hose by hand with fondant. I used gumpaste and a candy mold for the Maltese Cross. I used the billowing effect to create the stars and strips also from fondant. I used an actual crystal and dipped it in edible glitter to symbolize water. For the fire cake I created the 14 red rookie helments out of a candy mold with fondant. Everything else on this cake was created with fondant by hand. Thank you for taking the time to look!
