Thanks Bonnie, Clodhoppers are a famous Canadian candy - that's what I used as the riverbed. Really made the lake look real - plus they are much more yummy than standard rock chocolates.

What did you use for the water?

I used blue icing gel - you can get it at most grocery stores or cake places. Looks so much like water! I had to use A LOT and ran out so had to use some corn syrup with food colouring to fill it up (gel is much better - less runny and messy)
