Lottie's Octopus

Lottie is the most adorable little girl with a passion for all things aquatic. So it only seemed fitting she should have an octopus for her 1st birthday cake. The main body is plain madeira, but the tentacles are chocolate, lemon and carrot cake. A secret that was welcomed when the cake was cut.

Thanks everyone! I'm very flattered to have been given an honorable mention! This is my first time of entering a competition too! @Kathy107 - The main body was made in Madeira cake using a pudding bowl to give the nice rounded shape. The tentacles are 3 different flavours of cake which I carved into shape before icing. Any more questions, just ask, as I don't know what other info to give! xxx
