So pretty! Is the fondant (?) marbled? Painted? Air brushed? And how did you get the look of the imprinted design on the middle tier? Sorry for so many questions - I just love your cake!
Hahaha, you can always ask :) It is painted fondant. But instead of using a brush I used a sponge ;) Try it! It's fun, waaaay more fun than colouring your fondant.... ;)

One episode of Amazing Wedding Cakes they built up a pattern using bits of fondant, then covered the whole thing with a regular layer of fondant. Is that what you did for the pattern on the side? It looks so effective, and especially with the sponging.
That sounds about right! I use cutters for my workshops too, but you can also use a bit thicker layer of fondant and work the inprint to the surface by hand. But that;s a bit harder off course, since you dont have a guide to help you ;) Thx for your nice comment!
