Thanks colleagues :-) It means a lot to hear you guys like it, because as a decorator/designer I have to say this is my favourite wedding cake I have ever made. I just love cherry blossoms I think. If I ever get to renew my vows, I may choose this cake for my wedding! Thank again :-)
Robecki - use two sizes of small 5-petal cutters, ball then use a ridged frilling tool to fluff each one out, glue one onto another, then fit through a group of 12 mini stamens (taped together), colour centre and bases when dry. Repeat x 100. Wire onto thicker wire with brown paper tape. Simple! :-D
