Question here...your layers are so beautifully tall. Is all of that cake? And if so, how do you serve it into normal wedding-cake sizes? Or do you place the cake on top of a dummy to get it that height?
@ BeeSweetBakeshopTX - both tiers are only 4" high (two 2" layers). The band around the top tier is 1/4" thick to give the illusion of height. Same with the ruffle strips.
The cake is small - 6" and 8" rounds. Maybe that's why it looks taller?
