I just used a round cutter, then I cut the petal shapes using the edge of the circle :)

The purple circle goes down first, then I cut the gray circle and cut the four edges off with the circle cutter and those make the petals.

Not only is this a lovely cake and very well done, but I particularly like how you used the Design Seed pallet. Every since Jackie introduced us to it, I've been looking at all the lovely color combos but haven't put them together into a cake. Very well done!! :D

Thanks Bob! Succulents are so hot right now, and I keep seeing them just stuck on cakes all over the place, so I wanted to utilize the colors to make it more cohesive. I love design seeds, I was so happy when Jackie introduced them because I have been looking at that site for some time now, its a great inspiration!
