Utterly Engaged

Cake made for the Utterly Engaged leap year remix design challenge. I was fortunate enough to be asked to join one of the teams to participate. Each table was to take inspiration from two different countries and infuse them. Our inspiration was Columbia & Peru. So used an ikat print in our inspiration colors for the rice paper painted pattern on the middle tiers. And a modified arrow/chevron pattern for the bottom. I added two pink ranunculus?ish flowers to soften the overall look of the cake.
