Hi everyone . . . another full rose having used the 5-petal cutters (2 sizes). The finished rose measures just over 3" in diameter.

The rose is made of ivory-colored gumpaste. Then, I used Daffodil petal dust (lightened with corn starch) down in the base (both front and back) of petals. Then, tipped petals with pink petal dust only slightly lightened with corn starch.

Oh yeah! I bought 4 sets of Aldaval rose petal veiners from Karen at Cake Craft in the UK. Her web site address is: http://www.cakecrafts.co.uk/www.cakecrafts.org/ if you'd like to check them out. Just to give you an idea, the 4 sets of veiners and shipping all came to just shy of $60 USD. I've yet to find anyone in the USA that sells Aldaval veiners. They are quite lovely. :-) The veiner used for this rose was #8011.
