My First Gumpaste Floral Arrangement
This is my very first floral arrangement using gumpaste flowers/leaves. We were working on carnations and daises in my Wilton Fondant/Gumpaste class and I asked lots of questions on how to wire them and this is my result. I can't wait to try more!! I wish I could understand though how some of you get such great color blends on some of your flowers. Any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks for looking,.. enjoy the photo. Great job! Looks like a real corsage! As for color blends, try a bit of petal dust or nontoxic artist chalk mix with a very small amount of vodka. This makes an edible paint that can be used for shading etc. Some people also have airbrushes for this. Lucky people!
