Very Carefully! ;) lol! I used a three layer sheet cake and with a cardboard cut out of the shape I wanted laying on to, I cut the cake around it. After dirty icing it, I covererd with fondant which I made in three shades of tan and didn't mix all the way to give it that wood grain look. The handle is made out of rice krispie treats and all of the details are made from fondant. Under the handle I covered dowels in dark fondant to hold it up.
