This cake was made for a little boy who just turned 1. The caterpillar is sitting on top of a leaf that was made with buttercream and I used a wet paper towel to create texture. The Caterpillar was made like cakepops, but they were the size of baseballs. I covered them with fondant. It is also eating the number 1...made out of fondant.
