So, a little back-story for this cake: I have a T-shirt that I wear for cake deliveries that says, "I have decided to use my powers of baking for good instead of evil." Well, a friend said, "What's an evil cake look like?" And it got my wheels turning... A Google search for "evil cake" gives lots of gory/gross Halloween cakes, which wasn't what I was looking for. After some brainstorming with my husband we came up with two ideas (other evil cake is in a different upload).

This cake is done in my friend's favorite color (blue) and decorated to look pretty, but slightly off. Buttercream frosting, with fondant cameos (notice they're skulls), and a gumpaste rose and leaves. I don't do many gumpaste flowers, so this one turned out pretty good for a first attempt, I thought. :) The evil thing about this cake, though? It's a roll of toilet paper. I frosted and decorated a roll of toilet paper! :-D I thought that was pretty evil - tempt someone with a cake they can't really eat. :)
