    what cake tip do you use for the roses? Everytime I try to make those, they really do not look roses.

    newbreed, I use tip 1M - it's a large star tip. Start in the center and swirl the tip around twice. Keep it tight, and you'll have the rosette look in the center. GildaM, will do! Thanks for the nice comments.
