I'm fairly new to cake decorating. Made this train cake for my 4-year-old son. It's not perfect, but he loved it! Homemade pound cake with mini chocolate chips, baked in mini loaf pans. Homemade buttercream frosting. Engine is two mini-loaves and the cylinder is cake baked in a tin can. "Rails" are chocolate Twizzlers and "ties" are chocolate wafer cookies. "Dirt" and "gravel" are brown sugar and mini chocolate chips. Thanks for all the inspiration from other train cakes posted on CC!
