Pink and black....with lots of ruffles.....

Lola was a special bride who wanted to use her ruffled wedding gown as inspiration for her cake. I hand made the ruffles from pink fondant that I brushed with mixed dusts. This was truly a labor of love, as just the top tier took hours and hours to complete. I used satin ribbon around the center and then created a focal point with the ribbon to resemble her sash on her gown, complete with a rhinestone heart. This is really a beautiful cake. Never seen anything like that. I believe that was a lot of work with the handmade ruffles. If you don't mind me asking what do you charge for a cake like that? I would love to see some of your other cakes.
