very elegant and classy...the beads were a great find!!! Yes, how do you get your fondant so smooth? I still have trouble with it! I hope to one day have my cakes look this smooth.

hiya ..I buy ready made sugarpaste..I use regalice...once the cake is buttercreamed I put into the fridge to harden so now you have a hard surface to work with..Then put a small amount of buttercream back over the cake so your sugarpaste with stick...Roll out sugarpaste and lay over and shape round with your hand..The the must have tool a smoother..get your smoother and smooth all over the cake and then buff with the smoother..takes about 5 to 10 mins but worth it..so the cake looks and feels silky smooth..

Its okay..but I must admit I dont eat it...too sweet for me..some people love it and some dont..but in the UK that is all we use when covering novelty cakes etc..not many people use just buttercream
