In community album: Owl Cake Contest 2012

owl 1st birthday

The client wanted a owl themed cake and cupcakes to match the party decor. She gave me the freedom to choose the design. I got some of the inspiration from many of the adorable cake out there.

Thank you so very much everyone!! The pillow look is really easy, I used a diamond cutter to make the impressions. At each corner, I used a dowel to make a mall hole. I then took a plastic knife and made the little dents at each hole. I covered the holes with the little fondant balls. Thanks again!
