Made this for my son's 5th birthday. Entire cake is covered MMF, figures are fondant/gum paste. Flag is gum paste wrapped around a wooden dowel that was spray-painted with the edible silver shimmer spray. This was my first attempt at making humanoids on a cake! They are all wearing roller skates, since he had a skating party. After a few minutes of having the cake set up, Mario fell off the back and broke his neck.. and arm, and back... So we placed his head coming out of the pipe! It ended up looking pretty cool anyway! Thanks for looking!
