Violet Cake
Brown sugar spice cake with violets I made for my grandmother. her favorite flowers are violets, and that shade is her favorite colour. Loosely inspired by the cake in the back of the Wilton course two book.
this was a lot of fun, I liked arranging the leaves and flowers, and my grandmother was impressed. the cake was very crumbly though, I had a lot of trouble keeping crumbs out of the icing.
You did an outstanding job on the cake, I love your violets, and granny knows best:)
