Gold and Pearl Couture Table Cake....
I was asked to create a cake for a local bridal magazine. It had to be a couture mini cake, and I had certain colors I could use, etc.. I chose gold for my background color. I cover this in fondant and then brushed it with gold dust. I then covered it in gold hologram dust. I then hand cut fondant rings, and added edible pearls to each ring. I made the topper from edible chocolate pearls, gold dragees, and gold glitter. The cake itself has over 950 pearls on it. photo by Kevin Paul Photography
