Thanks guys! ") I got the idea from some women on here. It is just store bought pound cake (freezer) sliced the thickness of sliced bread. Grilled it in melted butter sprinkled with a little brown sugar. Thats what gives it that great carmelized brown. Mixed a little bowl of icing with a couple drops of orangs food coloring. Spread between layers. My grandkids were sooo happy! Said that I make the best sandwiches!! And of course I do! hahaha

Just like you would a grilled cheese. I melted a pat of butter and sprinkled brown suar, put the cake down! So easy!
