To make the brick look, I took a plastic gingerbread mold and wrapped it around the fondant.

it's funny, my first cake that got me hooked was a castle cake for my daughter! In all honesty your first castle looks tons better than mine, it's easy to see from this first attempt that you'd become a master at cake decorating! :princess:
