I had to make a combined birthday cake for my mom's 68th and my twin nephews' 12th birthdays. Something pretty for my mom (the peacock) and something 12 year old boy for the nephews (monster). I tried a poured fondant recipe for the icing and wasn't too happy with how that turned out but other than that, everyone got a kick out of it so I consider it an overall success ;)
