My first time making a gumpaste shoe. Quite the learning experience! The brides first wedding related purchase was her Jimmy Choo shoes, so her Mom wanted the cake to reflect that. TFL.

I love the pattern on the pillow! How did you do that?
teaparty 1/5/12 at 10:15pm
I used Wilton's Flower Fantasy impression mat on the fondant and then filled the impressions with royal icing.

Thanks for the great tutorial on facebook.

You're awesome!! I never would have though to "fill in" the impressions by an impression mat...that's genious! Would you have the shoe tutorial on your FB page as well? That is one incredible and flawless looking shoe!
teaparty 1/12/12 at 9:52pm
SweetHeartTart I can't claim credit for the idea of filling in the embossing. I got that idea from Wilton. :) I do have a tutorial of the shoe on my facebook page. Come on over!

I'm going to try this tutorial out this week! I am super excited because I kept reading everywhere that you needed a special kit and I can't get it out here in Egypt :/
