Thank You! This was my second cake to decorate and I really, really want to take a class! But, I live in the boonies and there are no classes around! Yes, it is ALL edible. The rock effect was crumbled graham crackers that I dipped in grey buttercream frosting! I let them dry on wax paper then just piled them on!

Hi Tanyascakes! I emailed the product list of items I used to create this cake. Thanks for your inquiry! You made my day. Tripletmom - I used rolled fondant and tiny cookie cutters for the fish!

This is one of the most coolest cakes I have ever seen. I was born and raised and still live right on Lake Michigan with a lighthouse that I walk to all the time! I would love to make this cake! please post instructions for all to see. You have many request for them! Adding to my favorites!

Wow! Could you please forward the info for my moms birthday. Sure to be a big hit. I would truly appreciate it. Keep up the great work and good luck!!! Tonya

Thank you all! As you may have noted in previous comments, my computer crashed with all the ingredients and instructions I created for this cake. However, I will tell you that I used Rice Krispie Treats and cookies to create the lighthouse. The RK treats and cookies have a large wooden dowel through the middle and are covered in MMF. The cake on the bottom is just a three layered 8" yellow cake with butter cream and light blue piping gel over fondant fish. See above for the rock effect.

I love this! I have a friend who loves lighthouses but unfortunately hates fondant ...I would love to make it sometime though!
