Think Pink
this was my first BC done with the papertowel method. Cake was pink with Cherry filling. I ran out of ideas for a topper, the banner is made from Chocolate. The only spec for this cake was to make it pink... i hated the color it turned out and couldnt bare delivering it like that so i had to add the white to it. the pink looked like Pepto Bismal... but was assured it tasted fabulous!
beautiful cake.......what exactlly is the paper towel method, I've seen it talked about just not sure what it is
Beautiful Job!
not even sure if i did it correctly but it worked... after slapping on the BC, take a papertowel and smooth it over the BC... it takes the spatula marks out but also leaves a neat impression from your papertowel. i usually use hot water and a knife but this was much quicker.
awesome.......and it doesn't get paper towel lint on the icing or anything???
nope.. just make sure the bc isnt "wet". i thought it looked almost like fondant.
it looks EXACTLLY like fondant.......I will have to try it (don't really care for the taste of fondant)
Viva paper towels don't have an impression to leave if you're looking for a smoother finish.
