Just wanted to try this out. Sphere cake is chocolate cake and round is fruit cake. After all the stress my husband suggested it'll look more complete with a string.....sigh.....tired me just used a real string on the bauble...I couldn't be bothered at this point...I just wanted my bed...yawn...aside that everything else is edible.

You did a great job on this. How did you cover the bauble? Do you have any tutorial on how to cover a ball?

Thanks Armids. I have no tutorial on covering a ball. I did have problems with fondant tearing at the base but the snow icing covered it.
