Birthday cake for a friend who's a Batman fan. Sour cream white cake with vanilla buttercream, covered and decorated with fondant and royal icing rivets. The signal cylinder is the actual cake - the stand is made from cake dummies, and the brackets on the side are metal L brackets covered in fondant (I would have liked to make them out of gumpaste, but I ran out of time). Cake board also covered in fondant and decorated with royal icing rivets.
