Thank you ladies. There are white glitter covered snow flakes attached to those wires.... a shame I didn't get them in the photo, but then, that's my camera skills in a nutshell!!!! Merry Christmas x

Hi Rosa369 - Igloo is made from rice krispie bars. If you're in the UK I used Kelloggs Squares, the marshmallow ones. I used 5 or 6 bars, squashed them together, then used a small breadknife to cut it into a dome then molded it a bit with my hands. Hi lilacs. Made the cheeks by dusting with a very soft paintbrush with rose coloured petal dust (I used Squires Kitchen rose food dust) mixed with a little cornflour (or corn starch if you're in the US) or you can use a bit of icing sugar. The cornflour makes the colour less harsh and it also gives a porcelain type finish. Cheers Debs :0)

Are the snowmen made of fondant as well?
The4manxies 12/22/11 at 6:51pm
Yes, everything but the igloo is made from gumpaste (snowflakes, snowmen, trees, parcels, snowballs). All sprayed with shimmer in a can to give a lovely sheen.
