In community album: First Time Cakes
I decided I am having so much fun attempting to decorate cakes at home, that I would enrol on a college course to learn properly ( Though I have to say I have learned heaps on Cake Central, I am a big fan). This is my first college effort. It is traditional fruit cake with Royal Icing. The snowman is a run out, as is the icing on the board. I really enjoyed doing the scrolls and over piping and the stencilling on the side, although isn't as smooth as it should be, my excuse is it is tree texture.
