Our pastor is an avid hunter so when they asked me to make his birthday cake, I knew it would have to be hunting related. I just hoped that the next sermon wouldn't be about making fun about the pastor. The bottom tier of the cake is covered in chocolate ganache. I bought a hunting toy set from Bass Pro Shops and used most of them on top of the cake. The cake that the deer is eating is actually a marshmallow.
