My cake in Cake Central Magazine....Winter Wonderland Theme
I was so honored to have one of my cakes featured in the current issue of Cake Central Magazine. The cake I created was for their Winter Wonderland theme. I wanted to create something that a bride would actually want at her wedding. I covered the cake in white fondant. I then created a modern snowflake brooch for the top tier. It is covered in hologram dust. The 2nd and bottom tier are covered in hand cut ruffled rose petals. I wanted something that had a snowy feel, but was modern. In person, the cake was covered in rainbow disco dust. Then the silver tier I dusted with silver highlighter dust that I mixed with regular silver dust. I then hand piped a pretty white pattern.
