What did you use to attach the feathers?

I covered the entire cake in chocolate ganache and then just stuck the feathers right to it...worked perfectly!

What kind of pans did you use?

The owl body was 2 6" cakes. The rounded head was a 1/2 of a sports ball pan. The 1/2 sports ball fits onto the 6" cake almost perfectly- very little trimming.
