This chocolate cake was for my niece's 30th Bday. It was three 8" cakes stacked, chocolate icing, ganache (that was kinda thin) and topped with strawberries. I made the twirly chocolate and 30 out of chocoalte almond. And for the shoe, I hand molded it out of polymer clay and painted it. I added some "diamonds" on the strap and I painted "thirty" on the shoe tag. This was something she could keep since she is a shoe lover! Next time I think I will use wooden dowels, the cake didn't move, but it did get saggy.
