This is a birthday cake I made for my Uncle Rusty, who is a miner in West Virginia. It is a double layer chocolate cake with buttercream, royal icing, chocolate, and fondant accents. The grass is royal icing. The miner, his tools, the cart, the track, and the mine are all fondant. The coal is colored white chocolate and the gravel is pieces of toffee. Thank you for looking!
