This was made for the 2011 White Rose Cake Decorators Show. The theme was "Tie One On", so I chose to feature some of my scouting memorabilia. The bolo ties were molded using food-safe modeling compound from the actual insignia, then filled with gumpaste. The beaded one was made with royal icing. The Order of the Arrow Brotherhood Sash was hand-painted. I won 3rd place in this division open to decorators of all skill levels!
