My grandson found a similar cake online and wanted one for his birthday. The bottom layers are chocolate, the upper ones are red velvet, all covered in fondant. The figures are gum paste and fondant. The grass, some see-through ghosts, and the moon are gelatin, a new technique for me. The moon would have been better made of sugar glass. It surprised everyone, including me, at how well it turned out. My grandson loved it.
