The haunted house is made of cookies constructed together with royal icing. The window panes are made from colored gelatin which I let dry until plastic like. The outside of the house is covered in MMF. There is a removable trap door in the back of the house and battery operated LED lights were inserted to make the an eerie light glow from the four windows. The cupcakes were vanilla with vanilla butter cream but the cakes were tinted and piped into the cups so that they looked like candy corn. The skulls are white chocolate and the tombstones are MMF. The ghosts are MMF on a lollipop and the monsters are piped butter cream with fondant accents.
