Mini Bird Cakes

Mini dummy cakes for a "tempting tables" display. Tempting Tables is a fundraiser for Breast Cancer research. Designers decorate tables very elaborately for the public to come in a view. My mom, Catherine McClung, is an artist has designed patterns for Lenox China. She used her china to decorate one of the tables. These bird cakes sat at each place setting. The bird designs are hers, but I cut the design out of fondat, layering it with different colors to get the effect.
