Sweet 16

I made this for a friend's daughter. She requested red velvet with cream cheese frosting. I made a modeling chocolate iphone (her gift from her parents) and car keys (in honor of her learner's permit) to place on the cake stand. The pink color didn't photograph well; it looks a little orange in the photo, but it was bright pink. I blurred out the background as it wasn't very attractive. Need to work on getting better photos!

You did a beautiful job!  Love, love your bow :-).  I'm looking for zebra-cake ideas for a girlfriend that's turning 60 in a couple of month's and would love to use your cake for inspiration if ok.  Also, what did you use to cut out the fondant for "Shannon"?  Thanks!

Sure, go ahead and copy this design. This cake is really old; the girl I made it for graduated from college a few years ago! haha. My cakes are so much better than this now.  The name was cut out using FMM tappits in a style called "funky". They're a little bit of a pain to use but make really nice letters. :-)
